Competitive Agility Overview

Our competitive levels vary considerably depending on the time of year and the needs of the people who register for the classes. They continue to build behaviours such as directional cues, sequencing, backside cues and offer a combination of coursework and skills. Dogs must be able to wait patiently between turns in a crate or on a bed/station. Dogs must also be able to work around other dogs and people.

Competitive Agility 1


This program is designed to help dogs and handlers translate their individual skills into confident sequences. The program will be based in Intro and Novice level courses from the NADAC/ASCA programs. It is designed for students who are hoping to compete at this level or who are new to trialling.


The next set of classes will start:


Competitive Agility 2

This program is for handlers and dogs who are experienced with trialling and who are looking for additional challenge. The courses are based on Elite NADAC/ASCA and Starters/Advanced CKC/AAC/USDAA level courses. Distance work, discrimination, and "bomb proofing" behaviours embedded in the program. Classes are outdoors.
