The Dog Classroom also offers Workplace Seminars for those who work in professions where they may come into contact with dogs (delivery service, meter readers, etc.).
Retrieve Workshop (Level 1)
This 2-session workshop is a hybrid model (part 1 online, part 2 in person). Both sessions are included in the price/registration

If you said yes to any of these, this workshop is for you!
In this workshop we will focus on teaching your dog a formal retrieve to hand using positive reinforcement training. Level 1 covers the foundation behaviours and teaching the dog to pick up the item.
Level 1
In the first (online) session, you will be introduced to the concept of a formal retrieve to hand and practice some of the foundation skills for the retrieve. Homework will be provided to practice the skills for the second session.
The second (in person) session will be geared to helping you progress through the retrieve process and provide specific tips for future retrieve training.
This workshop is an introduction to retrieving and homework will be integral to developing your dogs’ skills.
