Agility Training
We have created this program based on client feedback and industry best practices in order to provide a way to continue your training and building a bond with your dog beyond your typical obedience classes.
In our agility program, you can work at the pace and comfort level that works for you and your dog. Class sessions are 7 weeks each. Each level may take more than one session to complete based on the individual dog and humans. Read more about the Agility Levels below.
Agility Level 1
For dogs who are new to Agility, this is the starting point! Our agility program works by progressing through the training levels as you and your dog master each skill. Once you've got a good foundation with the Level 1 goals, you move over to Level 2!
Level 1 Goals include Equipment Goals such as basic jump, tunnel, hoop, plank, and table skills; Human Goals such as recognizing issues (confidence, safety) for your dog, handler & dog relationship and focus; and Training Goals such as stay/wait, recall, and targeting skills.

Agility Level 2
Once you and your dog have reached all your Level 1 Goals, we go on to the next phase!
Level 2 Goals include Equipment Goals such as jump grids, curved tunnel and various entries, hoop, plank, and table confidence; Human Goals such as handling with crosses, continued relationship building; and Training Goals such as short off-leash sequences, advanced recall, and targeting on contact equipment (a-frame, dog walk)

Agility Level 3
Level 3 Goals include Equipment Goals such as safe and confident performance of jumps, tunnels, and hoops with speed; contact obstacles and introducing the teeter; Human Goals such as warm up/stretching/massage skills, handling & crosses; and Training Goals such as performing obstacles in sequences, start line lead outs, and distance work.

Agility Level 4
Once you and your dog have reached your Level 3 goals, you are ready to begin course-running!
Level 4 Goals include navigating an intro-level agility course safely and confidently. This will include performing obstacles, off leash reliability, handler skills, and more.

Level 5 Goals include navigating more challenging agility courses that include multiple crosses, turns, and distance skills.

Small Dog Agility
This class is a safe and fun way to introduce your small dog to Agility activities! We will focus on learning some new training skills, working on and off-leash, body awareness, introducing agility obstacles, all with positive methods to improve your dog's confidence.
The course is suitable for dogs of all ages.
The program includes 7 classes (1 hour, once a week).
Level 1 Prerequisite: Next Step or permission of Instructor
Levels 2-4 Prerequisite: Previous level or permission of Instructor
