Scent Games Level 1
This course will introduce you and your dog to a series of games to find food, toys, and other hidden treasures!
Scent games are an excellent way to provide enrichment for your dog. These games are suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities. This course will also provide foundations for the scent detection skills in level 2.
This class is 1 hour a week for 7 weeks.

Scent Games Level 2
This course will expand your dogs ability to play scent games by introducing new scents whether for hunting, competition, or just for fun!
We will take the foundations learned in level 1 to new environments and with added distractions. We will introduce new handling skills, confidence building exercises, and discrimination challenges.
This class is 1 hour a week for 7 weeks. Indoor/outdoor class, please dress for the weather

Scent Games: Outdoor Explorers
Are you looking to take your scent training to a new level?
Want to have your dog search outside, but not sure where to start?
Perhaps you just want to challenge your dog with new arrangements and search set-ups.
In this class, students will take turns conducting searches designed to test handler and dog scent work skills and build your relationship as a team in an outdoor environment. A variety of arrangements and challenges will be introduced which incorporate various aspects of scent work.
This class is for any scent level 1, level 2 and scent games webinar students looking to have fun and work new searches in outdoor environments. People who have prior scent work experience will also be accepted contingent on the team’s capabilities (provide a basic summary of the training you have done and general assessment of your dogs skills).
Week 1 is an online class which will be completed in your backyard or a low distraction environment to prepare your dog to work outdoors around distractions.
Weeks 2-7 are in person, outdoor classes. Locations will be emailed to participants.
Homework related to the necessary skills will be provided in order to progress for the next week's class.
